Open only on weekends, this American-style bakery originated from a luncheonette in Bronxville in 1950 that sold pie slices. But 12 years later the luncheonette moved to Scarsdale and became Galloway's Bakery. The bakery is famous for their pies ranging from apple crumb to blueberry crumb to lemon meringue to chocolate cream to apricot and peach. Doughnuts and a line of coffee cakes are also sold. Most of the pies sell for $10.75, and the crowd favorite seems to be the chocolate cream pie.
